This is for Jimmy......

Okay - my brother-in-law is a "blogger" fanatic! So, out of boredom (for myself), I'm joining him in "blogger-world."

Actually in all seriousness - I really have enjoyed his writings and seeing his progress in running and getting back in shape.

I guess I'll add to the "Fussell" trend by talking about my workout achievements. First of all, since August I've lost nearly 3o lbs by going to Weight Watchers. My hubby, Uncivils brother, has lost down to his "pre-marriage" weight...of course I'll never get that small again. But, I do want to shed my last 3.5 lbs. It's been TOUGH!!!

So, tonight I ran 2.6 miles on the treadmill and then did 100 jumping jacks. I'm trying to get back on track! Sorta fell off the wagon over the last couple weeks.

Well thank you sweetheart! Did I ever tell you that you're my favorite sister in-law?
You both have really done well at losing weight and motivating my old arse to get out there and sweat a little.
It has done wonders for me mentally probably more than physically and I thank you both for that.
I think it helps to post your workouts, especially when others are following your progress. It helps to keep motivated, and then you you read others and find out you are not the only one who runs into set backs from time to time.

I have noticed your weight loss for some time now and didn't really notice Scott's until this past weekend. He really has lost the weight!

I'm not even sure what my 50 year old body is capable of anymore. I wouldn't imagine I could get anywhere close to what I accomplished in my 40's and I've never gone this long in my life without working out before.
It's good to know that my 40's weren't my last hurrah, now that you have me motivated again.

Looking forward to running in a 5 K with you guys!
