Can't believe it's already here....last day of my summer break!! Where did it go??? I had a nice summer though and especially liked spending the week down at Ocean Isle...compliments of my father-in-law....we are hoping next year to get a place where we can take the dogs....mom took great care of Harley Man (thanks mom) - but he is such an emotional little thing...and of course I did miss him. Think my father-in-law missed Tot too!
Scott and I got up early this morning and rode the motorcycle down to Fort Fisher and went to the aquarium. It was fun. I'm not sure why we didn't do it earlier this summer....like even go to the zoo...what were we thinking??? I guess we weren't (ha ha). After the aquarium we went to eat lunch at the Pirates Table....yum yum...it was good!
Got home I took Ameron to get shot record and get it over to UNC-W and then we walked a little around the campus so she could get a little more familiar with the layout and where the bus will be dropping her off....she is a little nervous to say the least. But, she will do well, I just know it.
Scott found out earlier in the week that on October 5th, he'll be going to 3rd shift for about 15 months. He's ready to try it and see if it suits us better. As of now...we never see each other during the week, except for 11:20 at night...as I wait up for him. So, I guess my daily naps will resume!
Anyway - will post tomorrow on how the first teacher workday went!!! Also below are some aquarium pics!!!
