Got up this morning and ran an 8k around Greenfield Lake and man was it cold!!! I so prefer running when it's warm. Had company running with me today, Jenn and Steph, it was their first time running 5 miles and they did great!
Not sure of my place yet, but my time was like 47:50 - I was striving for less than 50 minutes and I made it. Thanks to Scott for pushing me those last few running days....he worked today and wasn't able to make it.
Thanks to Christian for showing up on his bike to take some pics! What a champ, cause it was cold.
We have another one next weekend at Wrightsville Beach...only a 5k...there's about 7 of us doing that one so it should be fun!
