Melissa, Jason, Stephanie, Me, Scott, ErinWhat a great weekend. Ran the first annual Jingle Bell run on Saturday with Scott, Jason, Erin, Melissa, and Stephanie. It was freezing cold and WINDY!!!!!! It was so hard running. I think I had a fairly good time going on if it hadn't been for the wind...geez Everyone seemed to have a great time and all did very well. No one finished a lot in front of one another. Seemed like every couple minutes someone was crossing the finish line! Yeah for us. Can't wait to do another one. Looks like Jan. 9th will be the next one to brave the weather!
I did manage to come in 2nd in my age group, but there wasn't much competition there (thank goodness). The age groups were in 9 year spans which would have made it really tough it the "good" people from the runners association had shown up :) Oh well, I'll take what victory I can, anyway I can!! ha ha
