Scott and I bundled up and went and ran at Hugh McRae Park...it surely didn't take long to come out of the toboggan....lol wished I could have came out of the 2nd shirt I was wearing and the long johns....man what was I thinking????
We managed to do 5 miles in under 50 minutes....like a 9:51 pace...wasn't too back I don't guess. I looked at my time from last years race around the lake and I did it in like 43 minutes...so I'm about 7 minutes off pace....but hopefully my time on Saturday will be better than 50 minutes....maybe 47-49......???? Who knows.
Sent the flyer's around school today to start up the running club again...so many of the students have been asking so I thought I'd do it again the semester. Hopefully I'll get some really dedicated runners.
