Saturday - February 20, 2010

Finally a nice morning to run! I made sure I used the body glide and my new socks to see if it would help with the blisters.
Went to Hugh McRae Park to run because I didn't want to run just on flat land...decided I wanted to "train" (ha ha) a little using the slight inclines found around the park. I managed to get 13 miles in 2:05....not too bad I don't suppose :)
The run wasn't too hard, hard enough though, and luckily right now my legs don't appear to know they were punished earlier (ha ha).
When I got home, my feet looked better than what they had been looking. I only had one new blister and it was very very tiny, so I consider my purchases from Omega last night a success! - Thanks to Paul for the recommendation.
I need to calibrate my new Nike+ tomorrow b/c I know my other will be dying soon and I don't want to be stuck without having one next week. So, tomorrow I may just like do 3 miles nice and slow or if I feel okay do it at my normal pace...yeah its still nice and slow ha ha!!!!
