Well, two weeks now...and I'm still a little stuffy. I'm ready to be 100% again, as I'm already ready for some warm freaking weather! I really need to start pushing myself a little harder with running because the 1/2 is like a month away now. Yeah, I can run 13 miles right now...but I really would like to beat 2:04! The first, and of course the last 1/2 I did was in November 2008 and I had the summer to get ready since I don't work during that time, but this year is a little different - especially after taking those ~6 months off from running.
I think March may have been a little early for me to try to beat the 2:04 time, but I'm going to give it my best shot. Hopefully this weekend, weather permitting, I'll do a 13 mile tester....just to get an idea - and also to see how my feet hold up. I'm going by Omega to get some "running socks" and body glide to help. I know I don't what what happened last Monday to happen again to my feet!!!!!
