Today was my first day back running.I took two days off after running the 17 miles. Scott and I went down to Wrightsville Beach and parked at the park and ran down to the Coast Guard station and then around the loop.
Our training plan said to run 5 today, but I felt pretty good, so we did 6. Does this mean I can run 7 tomorrow instead of 8??? Ha ha..I know...that would be a NO!!!
Felt really good running, it was a little breezy as it always is at the beach - that's why I hate running there so much. But I know running in the different elements is good for me.
We ran 6 miles in 53:30, which is a 8:54 pace...yeah for me..sub 9. But then again, I'm always good at 6 lately..it's the after 6 that get me.

When we finished running, Scott drank his 32 ounces of water and I think I may have drank 8 ounces or a tad more. He gets on me all the time about not drinking enough, but even though I was sweating a little, I wasn't thirsty. It was a little too cool for me and I'm not sure if that is why I wasn't thirsty or not. I just can't drink unless I feel the need. Yeah, I know it's not a good thing, but I swear I feel like if I'd drank a lot of water I'd been sick!
